Funding the Future

Funding the Future

By December 31, 2019, CAM needs 100 new partners in excellence to commit to either a one-time gift of $120 or a gift of $10 a month for the next year. Any gift will make a difference in the educational experience and career preparation of CAM students.

Will you join the CAM family and commit to standing firm with us in teaching and equipping the next generation of creative professionals?

The mission of the College of Arts & Media at Southeastern University (CAM) is to guide students in their journey to becoming creative professionals that will not only drive innovation in the workplace, but build meaningful relationships that will enact positive change in their communities because of and through their faith.

One half of the equation for providing and enhancing the meaningful educational experiences provided by CAM is the acquisition and improvement of technology and equipment relevant to the creative industries. In order for a student to be fully prepared to begin their creative careers after graduation, they must be proficient with the most up-to-date tools of their trade.

The other half of the equation is the commitment and support of CAM and our community to student success. Students that become creative professionals in community learn that their professional career cannot be removed from benefiting the community surrounding them.

The Visual Design Lab for the College of Arts & Media supports curricular and co-curricular learning experiences for students studying the fields of broadcasting, digital journalism, graphic design, public relations, and more. Partner with us as we strive to ensure our students remain on the cutting-edge of technology in their fields of study.

Whether you can give $10 a month, $50 a month, or simply a one-time gift, any partnership amount is a meaningful contribution to the future of excellent, faith-based liberal arts education in the College of Arts & Media.

Film equipment is used by the visual storytellers within the film and broadcasting programs in the College of Arts & Media. Cameras and the associated equipment is utilized directly in the coursework for students such as student films, film capstones, portfolio development, and in-class exercises. This equipment is also needed for the production of co-curricular activities such as Unpland Improv and CAM’s new late-night style TV show, Torch TV, which launches in January 2020.
