Even though we’re all working remotely, the College of Arts & Media at Southeastern University
believes in the power of the arts to make meaningful connections.
We are using this page to highlight how our students and teachers are using
technology to make these important “remote connections.”

SEU music major, Nathan Hammond, performs an instrumental rendition of “What a Beautiful Name” as a form of “remote” community service for his church’s easter service.

Ashley Sampson presents her senior capstone film, The Veil. The Veil uses a modern-day relationship as the backdrop for a strikingly visual film that portrays man’s creation, fall, and redemption.

CLASS PROJECT

The video below shows how an SEU student used technology to complete her final project for her African-American Literature class. Lijah Haas used her own “remote connection” to finish her class assignment. By connecting online with a friend, she was able to find a unique and meaningful way to end the year.
