Support Opportunities

The College of Arts & Media at Southeastern University is making the Fall 2020 Performance Series free for patrons. All of our music concerts, visual art exhibitions, and other college events will be completely free of charge and offered virtually.  Of course offering these events free of charge means that we will have to find other ways to cover our expenses – expenses like venue rentals, equipment upgrades, guest artists, and consumable supplies. Please considering partnering with us to #SupportOurSeason (#SOS) by making a donation.

Making sure our students have access to the most up-to-date materials, equipment, and technology is an important goal for our college. We are constantly revisiting the facility and technological needs of our departments to make sure our students remain competitive in the job market after graduation. Your gift to the Funding the Future campaign will ensure that monies are set aside specifically to advance these upgrades.

Your gift to the College of Arts & Media in the amount of $250 or more will be combined with those from other donors to support innovative programs and urgent priorities, assist in the advancement of facilities, and aid in acquiring new technology.

Like an entrepreneur, an artist takes risks. They must become adept at problem-solving and the understanding and application of abstract ideas. They must learn to make the hidden and the incomprehensible relevant and relatable to others. An artist must learn to create with an open mind. To accomplish this, students need access to the most up-to-date supplies and technology. A minimum contribution of $50 will help up us foster the next generation of Art-trepreneurs.

Strong communication skills are vital in today’s world. As a member and supporter of the Council of Communicators, you will equip the next generation of great communicators. A minimum contribution of $50 provides donors an opportunity to support our students and programs in broadcasting, film, general communication, digital journalism, public relations, and more.

The Dean’s Circle recognizes the extraordinary generosity of alumni, friends, faculty, and corporations who make annual gifts of $500 or more. These gifts support the educational needs of students within the College of Arts & Media, as well as faculty pursuits in professional development and research.

Friends of Humanities are the hands lifting up our students as they reach for their dreams. A minimum annual contribution of $50 can help sponsor students on our annual study abroad trips, where academic learning is given perspective in real-world settings. In addition, contributions are essential to supporting our Expressions Storytelling Institute and Writers’ Conference, a celebration of creativity and the craft of the written word.

Your Friends of Music contribution will support music education, performances, and scholarships in the Department of Music. A minimum annual contribution of $50 provides donors the opportunity to underwrite musical performances, support academic programs in music, and assist us in maintaining facilities that are state-of- the-art in music education and music performance. Your contribution will assist our internationally-recognized faculty in educating our students in music performance, music education, music business, and church music.
